Chinese New Year Family Reunion Dinner 2018

My family decided to have an early reunion dinner with my two paternal aunties on Monday (12 Feb 2018) at a restaurant near my place. I shall let the photos do the talking.

FUN FACT: Broccoli is a very good source of dietary fiber, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin E, manganese, phosphorus, choline, vitamin B1, vitamin A (in the form of carotenoids), potassium and copper. Broccoli is also a good source of vitamin B1, magnesium, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, zinc, calcium, iron, niacin and selenium.

FUN FACT: Do you know that Leeks are an excellent source of vitamin K. They are very good source of manganese, vitamin B6, copper, iron, folate and vitamin C. Leeks are also a good source of vitamin A (in the form of carotenoids, dietary fiber, magnesium, vitamin E, calcium and omega-3 fatty acids. 

Many Chinese people believe that drinking fish maw soup and eating fish maw will improve their skin and, for pregnant women, the skin of their babies. Furthermore, fish maw does not contain cholesterol and therefore it is a very valuable health enhancing ingredient suitable for long time consumption.

Sea cucumber contains high levels of chondroitin sulfate, a major component of cartilage. ... Sea cucumber also contains natural anti-inflammatory compounds.
